Sichuan Shen Gong has consistently been dedicated to advancing technology and quality in industrial knives, focusing on enhancing cutting quality, lifespan, and efficiency. Today, we introduce two recent innovations from Shen Gong that significantly improve the cutting lifespan of blades:
- ZrN Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) Coating: The ZrN coating enhances the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of blades, extending their lifespan. PVD coating technology is widely used in knife manufacturing, offering high coating purity, excellent density, and strong adhesion to the substrate.
- New Ultrafine Grain Carbide Grade: By developing an ultrafine grain carbide material, the hardness and bending strength of the blades are improved, enhancing wear resistance and fracture toughness. Ultrafine grain carbide has shown promising applications in processing non-ferrous part and high polymer materials
