Shen Gong was the leading manufacturer in the Chinese market to launch cemented carbide corrugated slitter scorer knives in the early 2000s. Today, it is a globally renowned manufacturer of this product. Many of the world's leading original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) of corrugated board equipment choose Sichuan Shen Gong’s blades.
Shen Gong's corrugated slitter scorer knives are manufactured from the source, utilizing premium powder raw materials sourced from top suppliers worldwide. The process includes spray granulation, automatic pressing, high-temperature and high-pressure sintering, and CNC precision grinding to form the blades. Every batch undergoes wear resistance simulation testing to ensure consistent quality.
As one of the world’s largest manufacturers of corrugated slitter scorer knives, Shen Gong keeps stock for blades compatible with common corrugated board machine models, enabling quick delivery. Corrugated slitter scorer knife is used for slitting and trimming of corrugated paper board, and used with grinding wheel.
Q:The burr edge and subside edge of corrugated board during slitting.
a.Cutting edge of knives isn’t sharp. Please check the bevel setting of resharpening wheels is correct or not, and make sure cutting edge of knives was ground to sharp point.
b.Moisture content of corrugated board is too high, or too soft of the corrugated board. Sometimes might cause burst edge.
c.Too low tension of corrugated board transferring.
d.Improper setting of slitting depth. Too deep makes for subside edge; too shallow makes for burr edge.
e.Rotary linear speed of knives is too low. Please check rotary linear speed of knives along with wear of knives.
f.Too much starch glues are stuck on knives. Please check cleaning pads are lack of grease or not, or starch glues in corrugated board haven’t set yet.
